Lawsuit targets settlement attorneys, doctor

Man charged in 2023 traffic death

LISBON — A jury trial is now set Oct. 15 in Columbiana County Municipal Court for a West Virginia man charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular manslaughter for a 2023 fatal crash. Anthony L. Thornabar, 39, Spencer, W.Va., had a status conference Wednesday and was represented by defense attorney Chris Amato. Thornabar was accused of allegedly causing the Jan. 30, 2023 crash which led to the Jan. 31, 2023 death of 44-year-old Trevor Lee Reed of Salem. Fire dept. theft suspect indicted

LISBON — Kaedin D. Ulbrich, 19, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, was served Tuesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for fourth-degree felony grand theft and fifth-degree felony breaking and entering for illegally entering the Lisbon Fire Department building and stealing equipment, including numerous radios and turnout gear used for firefighting on June 19.
