SALEM– Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) welcomes plastic and reconstructive surgeon Linda A. Camp, M.D., FACS, MBA, to its medical staff. Camp is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She performs all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, to help improve her patients’ appearance and enhance their quality of life.

Camp has a special interest in caring for women with breast cancer. In addition to her SRMC plastic surgery practice, she will provide leadership for SRMC’s multidisciplinary breast cancer committee and consultative services to breast cancer patients at the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center (UHSCC) at SRMC. Her goal is to ensure that area women have local access to comprehensive and personalized breast cancer care.

“Women facing the breast cancer journey often need some type of breast surgery performed as part of their treatment,” Camp explained. “Choosing to undergo surgery is a personal decision and it is important to find the right solution for each patient. I will be working with my breast cancer patients at the UHSCC at SRMC to create a personalized treatment plan that optimizes their outcomes based on their individual needs and goals.”

Camp received her Doctor of Medicine from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, and then completed her surgical residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, and her plastic surgery residency at Penn State- Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa. In addition, she also obtained her Master of Business Administration from Malone University in Canton.

Camp has been in practice for over 20 years and has obtained extensive surgical training and experience in facial and body procedures. She is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery-General Surgery, and is a Diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
