Mount Union recognizes seniors during Recognition and Honors Convocation

ALLIANCE — University of Mount Union students were acknowledged at the institution’s Senior Recognition and Honors Convocation, held virtually April 20 on its website and social media channels.

Joshua Andrews, of Salem, was awarded the Robert L. & Flora Curtis Kniveton Accounting Prize.

Bariah Coursin, of Sebring, was awarded the Robert E. Hillier Family Scholarship.

Olivia Buch, of Alliance, was awarded the Art Department Purchase Award.

Amber Hume, of Minerva, was awarded the Mary Evelyn Cook Weber Prize and the Dean’s Purchase Awards in Art.

Teresa Woerther, of Alliance, was awarded the Dean’s Purchase Awards in Art.

April George, of Salem, was awarded the Amelia Alexander Dillow Prize.

Anna Zumbar, of Alliance, was awarded the Richard L. and Connie VanderMeulen Doyle Prize and the Mary Rogusky Scholarship.

Ryleigh Jones, of Salem, was awarded the Mary Frost French Prize.

Abigayle Anderson, of Alliance, was awarded the Outstanding Japanese Award.

Krissy Tarter, of Alliance, was awarded the Alumni Chemistry Award and Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in women’s cross country.

Colton Wade, of Alliance, was awarded the Morgan-Song Leadership Prize in Biochemistry.

Wyatt Kohl, of East Rochester, was awarded the Daniel Kibler, M.D. Prize.

Jenna Smith, of Beloit, was awarded the Rosemarie F. Ilg Crumbley Award and University Honors in the Graduating Class of 2021.

Megan Denny, of Alliance, was awarded the Sarah Stevenson Scholarship.

Emily Shar, of Leetonia, was awarded the Lucile Brown Ketcham Scholarship.

Bailey Balderson, of Alliance, was awarded the Alpha Lambda Delta 2021 Senior Certificate.

Lillian Boehm, of Alliance, was awarded the Alpha Lambda Delta 2021 Senior Certificate.

Andrea Dietz, of East Liverpool, was awarded the Alpha Lambda Delta 2021 Senior Certificate.

Howard Frazier, of Alliance, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in football.

Aaron Hawk, of Alliance, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in football.

Kassity Miller, of New Waterford, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in women’s soccer.

Grace Heath, of Beloit, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in softball.

Ethan Griffith, of Salem, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in men’s track and field.

Faith Hoobler, of Hammondsville, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in women’s track and field.

Maria Ellesin, of Alliance, was awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Status in women’s volleyball.
