Pinegrove Church Craftshow
Pinegrove Church Annual Craftshow will be held Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Saline Township Complex in Hammondsville. Anyone interested in setting up a craft table may call Sue at 203-343-6323 or Keith at 740-278-5874. The cost for the tables is $20 for one table and $5 for any additional tables. Electric is available if needed for an additional cost.
Firestone Park Concert
Leanne Binder and Rajma and the Songmill Singers will perform at the concert at Firestone Park in Columbiana Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Binder is a first-time performer for the summer concerts, but she is no stranger to the stage and entertaining in the area. They will play favorite songs from yesterday and today. The Song Mill Studio Vocalists will join her on stage. Sponsored by Dr. Don DeChellis.
West Township Homecoming
West Township Ruritans Homecoming will be held Aug. 11-13 featuring garage sales all three days along U.S. Route 30 in East Rochester. On Friday there will be at Ohio Mod Rod Pullers 6 p.m. Saturday features Antique and Farm Stock Tractor Pull at 6 p.m. There will also be kids games at 1 p.m., a car show from 2-5 p.m. and Basement Bromance Band from 7-10 p.m. The kitchen will be open daily. The Saturday pull weigh in is at 5 p.m. with the pull at 6 p.m. The schedule is as follows: 4500 - 4/8 mph antique, 7500 - 8 mph FS NT, 5500 - 4/8 mph antique, 6000 - 6 mph "grudge match" antique, 8500 - 8 mph FS NT, 6500 - 4/8 mph antique and 9500 8 mph FS NT.
