YOUNGSTOWN - Birdfish Brewing has teamed up with Potential Development for an upcoming fundraiser, "Pours for Potential," on from noon to 4 p.m. April 30.

The free family event includes music, raffles, games, food and dessert trucks, and craft beer. Birdfish Brewing, located at 140 E. Park Ave. in Columbiana, will donate $1 from every beer poured during the event.

Others donating to Potential Development include Delisha's Food Truck, which will donate 100% of their dessert proceeds, and S & T Engraving, which will donate 20% of their sales from branded merchandise specifically created for the event, as well as provide free logo'd pint glasses to the first 100 people at the event.

Raffle prizes include five field-level box seats for the July 8 Cleveland Guardians vs. Kansas City Royals game and a Birdfish Brewing cooler filled with merchandise and a $100 gift card.

Potential Development students participated in a coloring contest featuring a commemorative Birdfish coloring page. All artwork will be displayed at the event. One winner each from Potential Development Preschool, Elementary/Middle School and High School will be announced at the event, and they will receive their artwork in the form of a puzzle in a customized tin.

"We're excited to be collaborating with Birdfish Brewing in creating a new fun-filled family event to not only raise funds for Potential Development, but to also highlight the artistic talent of our students," said Sue Stricklin, Potential Development board member. "We are very thankful to our local businesses and community for their ongoing support of our fundraising events because they are vital in helping us be able to continue to offer our students state-of-the-art educational and therapeutic tools."
