Memorial Services for

Miscarried or Stillborn Children

The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is hosting Memorial Services for Miscarried or Stillborn Children at 2 p.m. Sunday at locations in Youngstown and Massillon. The Youngstown service will take place in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 248 Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. The Massillon service will take place in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 3469 Lincoln Way East, Massillon. Parents, family, grandparents and other relations of any child lost to miscarriage or stillbirth are encouraged to attend. Sponsored by the Diocese of Youngstown's Office of Worship, Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life, and Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services. For information call 330-744-8451 ext. 272.

Salem Eagles workshop

The Salem Eagles invite area women to a workshop with Micah Bender of Heavenly Arm LLC where they will learn what to look for and how to manage and what to do after an attempted abduction. The class will be held at 2 p.m. May 27 and is open to members and non-members. Members are free and non-members are $5. Participants must be at least 13 years old and must sign up to attend. Participants do not have to have previous experience and the workshop is very low impact. This will be safe and controlled environment. Light snack will be provided and beverages will be available to purchase. Participants may bring a beverage, but are asked that no alcoholic beverages be brought in. Annual Rummage Sale

The Columbiana Nazarene Church, 330 N. Elm St., will hold its Annual Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19-20 and May 26-27. Everything will be free after 4 p.m. on May 27.

CC Retired Teachers Assoc. meeting

The Columbiana County Retired Teachers Association will hold its business/luncheon meeting at noon Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Lisbon. All Columbiana County retired educators are invited to attend the luncheon and program.
