Teens will also have the full use of the Rodman Chopped pantry filled with spices and other essentials to complete their dish. A panel of three persons will then judge the round. The event, which is supported by Friends of Rodman Public Library, is limited to 18 participants, so registration is required. Teens may sign up individually or in groups up to three persons. The Columbiana County Health District will again be hosting a clinic providing Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screening. This clinic is by appointment only and will be held June 6 at the Health District located at 7360 state Route 45, Lisbon. There will be no charge for residents of the General Health District to be screened. Those attending who live outside of the General Health District (Salem and East Liverpool cities) or outside of Columbiana County will be charged $25, which must be paid in cash, for the PSA screening service. The American Cancer Society recommends an annual PSA screening for men over age 50. Because African-American men have a higher risk of prostate cancer, it is recommended they begin having the screenings at age 45. Men who have a family history for prostate cancer also should begin the screenings at age 45. To schedule an appointment for the PSA clinic call 330-424-0272, ext. 114.
