QUINCY, Ill. - Quincy University hosted its 160th Commencement ceremony May 13. The 2023 spring graduating class is comprised of 146 undergraduates with an additional 32 graduate degree recipients. QU President Brian McGee, PhD, conferred degrees and provided remarks. Dr. Vicky Eidson. DMgt, QU professor of accounting and a distinguished senior faculty member, delivered the commencement address. She called on students to "reflect on your past, celebrate your present achievements, and dream of your future." Local graduates included Michael Thomas McDonough, Master of Science in Education, from Columbiana.

OXFORD, Ohio - Christopher Noble was named to the Miami University spring 2023 President's list.
Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for the fall semester 2022-23 have been named to the President's list recognizing academic excellence. Noble, from Georgetown, Pa., is earning a B.S. in Nursing degree in Nursing.
