Benefit Spaghetti Dinner
A Benefit Spaghetti Dinner for Donna Berger will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Columbiana Firestone Park Pavilion #4 (Mirror Lake). The event will include basket and gift card raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 years and under.
Roast beef dinner
The Lisbon St. George Catholic Church Altar & Rosary will hold a pick-up roast beef dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11. The fresh homemade menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll/butter and Nancy's famous apple crisp. Thriller Flash Mob
A Flash Mob dancing to Thriller will be performed by any zombies who wish to join when the East Palestine Fire Department hosts a Halloween Fall Festival at the park Oct. 28. The event will begin with the Thriller Dance. Everyone (young and old) is invited to join the Stick to it Fitness exercise class which has been hard at work learning the choreography. To participate (for free), visit www.thrilltheworld.com and watch and learn the instructional videos. Then dress as a zombie and the dance.
