Drive thru Banquet
Bob and Linda Sebo will sponsor the dine in or drive thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and cookies. Dine in will park in the designated area and proceed to front door. Maker Monday at Rodman Library
Maker Monday crafters will create a Halloween scene when they meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 in Rodman Public Library's Main Auditorium. Led by Debbie Mikesell, Maker Monday is an in-person craft program for adults that is held monthly on select Mondays. All materials are provided free of charge, thanks to Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required for each session. 'Grab & Go' soup fundraiser
Community Day Camp of North Lima will be holding a "Grab & Go" soup fundraiser from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 21 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. in North Lima. Choices of soup are baked potato, vegetable, French onion, stuffed pepper, ham & bean, broccoli cheese and cheeseburger. The cost is $8 per quart. All proceeds benefit CDCNL's day camp program.
Drive-thru chicken dinner
Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will hold a drive-thru chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or sold out Oct. 12. Dinner will include a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost of the dinner is $9. Reserve dinners by calling 330-549-2588.
Chicken BBQ drive thru dinner
The Fairfield Ruritans will be holding their Annual Fall Chicken Barbecue Drive thru dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or sold out Oct. 7 at the Grace Church on South Main Street in Columbiana. Dinner includes a half chicken, baked potato, green beans and dessert for $12 advance or $13 at the door.
