SALEM - The Salem Community Center (SCC) is holding a Designer Handbag Bingo event Oct. 4, featuring designer bags from Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, Dooney & Bourke and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the SCC Children's Fitness Center. The Children's Fitness Center supports the health and wellness of children ages 5-12 along with the SCC's Fit Kids Program. The evening Presenting Sponsor is PNC Bank and the Event Sponsor will be Karen Sebo.
The evening agenda includes:
- Doors opens at 4:30 p.m.
- Full buffet dinner by Jalisco's
- Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m.
- One bonus round Bingo for Dooney & Bourke
- Lucky draw Vera Bradley raffle, basket raffles and 50/50 drawing
Advance tickets are on sale now at the SCC for $40 per person. Ticket price includes full buffet dinner with coffee and sundae bar featuring Heggy's Ice Cream, one bingo packet (10 rounds, three boards per round), a bingo dauber and a ticket for a specialty drink by Kast Iron Soda Works. The following can be purchased on-site:
- Additional Bingo card packets: $5 per packet
- Bonus round Bingo (Dooney & Bourke) packet: $10 per packet
- Lucky draw Vera Bradley travel set tickets: $10 each
- Basket raffle tickets: Five for $5 or 15 for $10
- 50/50 tickets: 10 for $5
Winners of each round of bingo will receive a new, authentic designer bag.
