Glamunster Castle event canceled
The Castle Crusaders have been forced to cancel the Glamunster Castle event slated for Oct. 21 and 22 at Glamorgan Castle in Alliance due to an unforeseen circumstance.
Final Idabelle Firestone concert
The final concert of the 2023 Idabelle Firestone outdoor concert series will be a performance of Celtic Harps by Allison Miller and Sairey (Miller) Williams and bagpipe music by Kim Meek at 3 p.m. Sunday at Grace Church, 140 S. Main St. to accommodate the cooler weather. Young music scholar, Harrison Hodgson, will also perform on the piano. Fans of Meredith Lea, WFMJ TV 21 news anchor, will have the opportunity to meet her in person as she leads the concert announcements. Ghost hunter at Salem Library
Local ghost hunter Kimberly Mitchell is returning to the Salem Public Library with her team of professional ghost hunters at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 in the upstairs reading room. The team has an array of equipment they will be demonstrating as visitors search for the ghosts of the Salem Public Library. Rempods, SB 7, 11, a Paralight, K2 meters, and more ghost hunting equipment will be used during the event. Much of the collected evidence will be reviewed that night. This program is open to all and free of cost. Advanced registration for this event is required and can be completed on the library's website, or by calling 330-332-0042 for registration assistance.
