Salem HS Band holding fruit sale
The Salem High School "Pride of Salem Marching Band" is holding its annual fruit sale through Oct. 31 featuring assorted boxes of Pee Jay's Fresh Fruit which includes California navel and Florida juice oranges, tangelos, red grapefruit, Red Delicious apples, Anjou pears, golden pineapples, trio and citrus mix boxes, assorted cheesecakes including plain, strawberry and triple chocolate, plus specialty holiday gift baskets.
All proceeds generated from the sale are used toward student activities, incidental purchases and competition travel expenses. All non-holiday gift orders will be shipped to the high school on Dec. 7 for public pickup or delivery. Sebring Senior Day scheduled Tuesday
The Sebring Senior Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Almost Home Event Center, 230 S. 12th St. There will be a free lunch at noon as well as raffle prizes and information for seniors. A special performance by Gerald Harris will be held from noon to 2 p.m. For information call 330-428-4873.
Community Day Camp holding fundraiser
Community Day Camp of North Lima will be holding a "Grab & Go" soup fundraiser Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. in North Lima.
Choices of soup are baked potato, vegetable, French onion, stuffed pepper, ham & bean, broccoli cheese and cheeseburger. The cost is $8 per quart. All proceeds benefit CDCNL's day camp program.
