EP events planning meeting

The East Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Snowflake Festival and Small Business Saturday planning meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at the municipal building, 85 N. Market St. All businesses and interested individuals are welcome to attend.

EP Eagles Nite at the Races

East Palestine Eagles will host a Nite at the Races at the EP Eagles Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Races start at 7 p.m. Food is provided. No outside beverages. Must be 21 years of age. Other games of chance will be played throughout the night. First 40 people will get in free since the club has sponsors who have donated and cannot attend.

Change in Rodman film slate

Rodman Public Library is making a change in its movie lineup this month. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the film originally planned for 1 p.m. Oct. 28 has been altered. In it's place, the library will screen a 2023 adventure/comedy/fantasy in which the title character, based on a popular toy, suffers a crisis which leads her to question her world and existence. The feature film is rated PG-13 and runs 1 hour, 54 minutes. Attending movies are free at Rodman Public Library and freshly popped popcorn will be provided thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library. No registration is necessary for the all ages event; however, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver. For information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 217.

Christmas craft show in Salem

The annual Christmas with Friends Craft Show will be held at Salem First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 18. The event features handmade items such as jewelry, home decor, shirts, tumblers, jams, baked goods, dog gear and more. The event is hosted by The Gate Student Ministries who use any proceeds to attend retreats, trips and service projects throughout the calendar year.
