Friends to sponsor Banquet in Salem
The Friends of the Banquet will sponsor the dine in or drive thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include sloppy joes, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and peaches. Dine in will park in the designated area and proceed to the front door of the Memorial Building. Drive thru will line up in the lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in a vehicle. Lisbon to host downtown skating
Kick off the holiday season with free ice skating in downtown Lisbon Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Small Business Saturday. Movin & Groovin Productions will have the skating rink set up in the Columbiana County Courthouse parking lot. Skates are provided in both children's and adult sizes. Mike's Classic Catering and Events LLC will be set up with goodies. Sponsors include Source Gallery, Geronimo Supply Co., Richardson Monuments Inc., Sandy & Beaver Insurance Company, Almost Perfect Foundation & Resale and Lisbon Mayor Peter Wilson.
