Goshen Trustees will meet with Damascus Fire Dept.

The Goshen Township trustees will meet with the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department to review their contract at 6 p.m. Monday prior to the regular trustees meeting at the administration building.

Salem Golf Club presenting Craft Show on Nov. 18

The Salem Golf Club will present "The Stocking Stuffers Craft Show" Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., open to the public. The Tea Room will welcome those wanting to have lunch.

Community Day Camp holding 'Grab & Go' soup fundraiser

Community Day Camp of North Lima will be holding a "Grab & Go" soup fundraiser Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. in North Lima. Choices of soup are baked potato, vegetable, tomato basil, chili, wedding soup, chicken noodle and French onion. The cost is $8 per quart. All proceeds benefit CDCNL's day camp program.

Burchfield Homestead hosting Silent Night Art Auction Friday

The Burchfield Homestead, 867 E. Fourth St., Salem, will host a Silent Night Art Auction from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Bidding registration at the door is $10. Bid on artwork donated by local artists and preview the holiday trees decorated in themes from Charles Burchfield's paintings. Refreshments will be served when a Christmas Gift Shoppe will also be available. All proceeds benefit the Burchfield Homestead Society. Salem Trees and Trains Holiday event is Nov. 18-19

The Salem Trees and Trains Holiday event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19. Visit the train display at Naragon Law Office, 248 E. State St, Salem (enter at the back door on Sugar Tree Alley) and the holiday trees at the Burchfield Homestead, 867 E. 4th St, Salem. A $3 donation covers both venues, children under 10 are free. The Burchfield Homestead Holiday event will continue from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays Nov. 25 to Dec. 23. Visit the Homestead at 867 E. 4th St., Salem, to view spectacularly decorated holiday trees, each inspired by a Burchfield painting. All proceeds benefit the Burchfield Homestead Society.
