North Lincoln Avenue in Salem from State Street to Third Street will be closed Monday starting at 8 a.m. for a waterline repair.
Christmas party
A traditional Christmas party will highlight the regular monthly meeting of Salem LCBA Branch 654 at St. Paul Catholic Church scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Salem Senior Housing Club House, 996 W. Perry St. Members are asked to bring a $5 wrapped, useful gift, also donations of gas cards for the Sophia Women's Center. Presiding officer will be President Rose Bedell. Serving on the refreshment committee are Ruth Huggins, Kris Egli, Mary Caye Bixler, Dee Tkatch and Denise Patton. New members are invited to attend. Following the meeting, the Salem LCBA Branch will recess for the winter. Next regular meeting will be March 7, 2024.

The Look Nook Gift Shop at Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is hosting its annual "12 Days of Christmas Sale" Dec. 7 through 22. Each day's featured gift idea can be purchased that day only at 15% off. Located on SRMC's ground floor concourse, the Look Nook is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
