Jasmine Rodriguez is the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center's October Student of the Month.
Jasmine is a full-day senior from Columbiana High School and is enrolled in the Information Technology Academy (ITA) Program under the instruction of Jeff Williams.
Jasmine is a member of the SkillsUSA Chapter at the CCCTC. She has earned certifications in OSHA-10, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, IT Fundamentals Pro, Network Pro and CompTIA Cloud+ Essentials. She has set a personal goal to end her senior year with a 4.0 GPA.
Jasmine's future plans are to go to college and major in chemistry because she has always loved science.
She stated "The CCCTC was a great choice for me because it gave me the opportunity to learn a good life skill. It also helped me meet new people and develop my people skills more."
Jasmine was nominated by Williams, who stated "'I am choosing Jasmine because has earned all of the credentials that have been offered to her thus far. She's a great student and passes everything I throw at her. In addition, she has an amazing work ethic. The way she approaches her work and studies each day is commendable. She excels academically and consistently demonstrates a commitment to high-quality, detail-oriented work. For these reasons I selected Jasmine for Student of the Month, and it is for these reasons, I know she will be successful in whatever endeavor she chooses, moving forward."
Jasmine is the daughter of Natalie Rodriguez.
