LISBON -- The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce, the Lisbon Landmark Foundation and the Friends of the Park will host the village's sixth annual "Wine About Winter" from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Part wine-tasting and part an introduction to Lisbon's historic downtown, "Wine About Winter" features 11 wine-tasting stations across the village.

Stops are Dashing Divas, Geronimo Supply, Stigmata Tattoo and Piercing, Sandy and Beaver Insurance, Almost Perfect Foundation, the Columbiana County Democrats Women's Caucus, Youngstown Cycle and Speed, Serenity's Way, Source Gallery, McLaughlins Martial Arts and Vador Vape.

"This is our largest Wine About Winter yet, with more stops and wineries," said Chamber President Carly Brock.

Seven wineries -- Lincoln Way Vineyard, McKim's Winery, 3 Roses Winery, Tipsy Farmer Winery, Hidden Trails, L'uva Bella and Maize Valley -- will be participating.

"This event offers local wineries a chance to showcase their wines," said Chamber Executive Director Angela Benner. "We've tried to attract more wineries this year to give participants an even bigger selection."

There are also four non-alcoholic stops that will feature cider, donuts, crackers, cheese and apple cider, Benner said. They are the Columbiana County Republican Party, Nourish Coffee and Kitchen, Lisbon Nutrition and Subway.

Tickets are $15 up to Friday, and then $20 the day of the event. Tickets are available by calling the chamber at 330-424-1803, or by going to: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/wine-about-winter-tickets.

Tickets will also be available at the chamber office, 120 N. Market St. All ticket holders will have to pass by the chamber office to pick up their wristbands to participate.

The first 75 to pass by the door will also receive a free commemorative wine glass donated by Alterations by the Clothing Surgeon. Seventy-five wine charms, donated by Reflections of Time photography, will also be handed out.

The chamber will also have a "wine pull" and Chinese auction.

Proceeds from the event are going to the chamber's other events and for work on the village's historic buildings as well as the County Park District.
