On May 11 from 1 to 4 p.m., Salem Historical Society will be hosting a special attraction during Second Saturdays Blessing of the Bikes. SHS will be hosting a vintage and custom motorcycle showcase, featuring custom motorcycles showcased by Vulture Customs. Skeeter's Graphix will be live painting a bike part, inspired by Salem's History and SHS will auction the part in a silent auction to benefit SHS programming. SHS is calling to all local vintage motorcycle owners to show off their bikes for a chance to win two free tickets to Salem Historical Society Museums and bragging rights to Salem's Best Vintage Bike. There will be vendors from the motorcycle industry in the adjoining lot and a historic presentation on the history of motorcycles will be given in the meeting room.
