SALEM - The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation has received a significant donation from Myers Family Insurance in support of the new SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion at Firestone Farms TownCenter in Columbiana.
Through their generous gift, Myers Family Insurance secured the naming rights to the Firestone Surgery Center's Reception Area.
Founded in 2013, Myers Family Insurance is owned and operated by Jim and Ann Myers.
"Jim and I deeply believe in giving back to our local communities," Ann said. "We understand the importance of patients having access to the latest medical technologies and services close to home, and are proud to support the hospital's continued growth through its new outpatient facility."
"When my dad was battling cancer, I saw firsthand how meaningful Salem Regional Medical Center's advanced care is to patients and their families," Jim added. "We're happy to have the opportunity to share in the hospital's legacy of improving the health of area residents."
"Myers Family Insurance has been a dedicated community partner of Salem Regional Medical Center for many years," said Amy Reed, director of the SRMC Foundation. "We are truly appreciative of their generosity and ongoing commitment to helping our hospital advance the care it provides to our patients."

Since the facility's ribbon cutting in March, the Pavilion's services have been launching in phases. Those that are now open include ARC Medical Imaging, SRMC Medical Group physician offices, SRMC Immediate Care and the Firestone Infusion Center. The Firestone Surgery Center is planned to open this summer.
