Columbiana County Engineer Bert Dawson met with McKinley Elementary fourth graders this week. Dawson explained the job that engineers perform at a county level, how the department is funded and how they use public funds. The presentation also included Assistant Design Engineer Emma Minamyer, who explained how engineers invent, innovate, and design to make lives easier, safer and more efficient.
