Mosquito spraying in Mahoning County

Mahoning County Public Health received 2025 Ohio EPA Mosquito Control Grant Funding for mosquito control measures. One of those measures includes spraying for adult mosquito control. Spraying will help reduce the population of mosquitoes and help prevent the spread of mosquito borne diseases such as West Nile Virus. Adult Mosquito Control will occur in the following limited areas within Mahoning County: May 22, June 26 and July 24 at Canfield Fairgrounds, Mill Creek Park Campgrounds, Coy Park and Woodworth Park; May 22 and June 26 at Chaparral Campgrounds. Spraying will be performed between dusk and dawn and if rainy or windy conditions are present, then spraying will be postponed. Those with beehives in these areas, call the Environmental Health Division (330-270-2855) so spraying can be avoided in those locations.

Starting at $2.99/week.
