MINERVA — Visit downtown Minerva for Nights on North Market, Friday, July 11, for live music, art, food and drink, and shopping, as well as Alumni Night for all Minerva High School graduates.

The Market Street Art Spot will host a reception, 5-9 p.m., featuring the watercolors of Kelly Burch, live music by Ruben Raines, and light refreshments.

West High Street, between North Market and Main streets, will be the site of a popup pocket park for the evening with live music, 6-9 p.m., from Kindred Roots, playing multi-genre hits spanning seven decades. There will also be a bounce house, sponsored by Harding Heating & Cooling, dunk tank, games, crafters, vendors, local organizations, and more. Singo will take place in the Roxy Theatre.

Shops open in and around downtown will include Art on 30 Gallery & Gift Shop, Witchy Ways, Chic Haven Boutique, Sassy Rose Boutique, and the Minerva Area Historical Society’s Haas Museum, 6-8 p.m.

The Clever Cookie & Creamery, and The Komfort Zone will be open late. Here to Serve BBQ and Kona Ice will also be on High Street.

The village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect 4-10 p.m., and DORA beverages may be purchased at Sandy Springs Brewing Company, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Stoney Inn, and the Normandy Inn and carried throughout the downtown area.
