The “Totally 80s Ice Ice Cream Shoppe” will visit Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC), where ice cream will be sold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the sale is being moved from the hospital’s front parking lot to a new location inside SRMC’s Look Nook Gift Shop on the hospital’s ground floor concourse. Twenty percent of all sales that day will be given to support SRMC’s Cancer Fund. “We invite the community to come out and enjoy a sweet treat in support of cancer care at Salem Regional Medical Center,” said Amy Reed, SRMC director of development. Cash, credit and debit payments will be accepted by shoppe representatives, who will be staffing the event.
