LEETONIA — An unidentified resident won the top prize on a $30 Royal Riches scratch-off game ticket recently purchased at DP Fuel on state Route 7 in New Waterford, according to the Ohio Lottery Commission. 

After choosing the lump-sum cash option, the man received $720,000 after taxes. 

The alternate option would have paid out $80,000 payments over 25 years.

This is the second time in recent years that a Leetonia resident won the top prize in a million dollar scratch-off game. 

A village man took the $500,000 cash option for his win in May 2023.
