The Salem Summer Concert Series announces the return of Jimmy and the Soul Blazers as they celebrate Alumni Night at Waterworth Memorial Park Sunday. The high-energy American soul and funk band from Alliance has been delighting audiences across the East Coast and Midwest since 1966. The concert is free and starts at 6 p.m. Also featured will be a “Cars of the Decades” display. Tickets will be sold for 50/50 drawings and for prizes donated by local businesses and friends of the concert series. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. A food vendor will be available to purchase food and soft drinks. Parking is available at the park’s Sunset Boulevard entrance, or the Superior Avenue entrance, with limited handicap accessible parking.
