Columbiana BOE public hearing
The Columbiana school board will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 14 in the high school media center to consider the re-employment of the following individuals to the same positions from which they retired: Dr. Donald Mook, superintendent; Kathy Davies, treasurer; and Kim Sharshan, principal. All interested persons are invited to attend.
CCCTC LED mum sale
The Landscape and Environmental Design program at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is currently holding its annual mum sale. The mums are 8-inch pots, and the cost is $14 per plant. The mums are available in five different color categories: red/burgundy, yellow/gold, orange/bronze, purple/pink, and white/cream. This is a preorder sale only, and orders will be taken from now until Sept. 18. Mums must be picked up between the hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25 and Friday, Sept. 26, or on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8 am to noon at the CCCTC-LED greenhouse located on the CCCTC campus. Anyone interested in placing an order for fall mums should call the CCCTC LED program at 330-424-9561 extension 179 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and speak to Josh Ludwig or you may email Ludwig at joshua.ludwig@ccctc.k12.oh.us.
