Beloit council meeting

Beloit Village Council will be meeting Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. at Sebring Fire Station #1. This will be an informational session on joint fire districts put on by Chip Comstock. No decisions will be made at this meeting; this is an informational session on how joint fire districts work and how to form a joint fire district with multiple communities. The public is welcome to attend.

Banquet in Salem Monday

Friends of the Banquet will sponsor the Dine in or Drive Thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include ham, augratin potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area behind the building and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in the library lot. Celebrating Seniors lunch

Celebrating Seniors will host a free lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., Columbiana. Make reservations with Judy by Sept. 23 at 330-482-2666. All are welcome. Facility is fully accessible.

Medicare Fraud Workshop

A Medicare Fraud Workshop is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sept. 30 at the First Presbyterian Church, 28 E. Park Ave., Columbiana. The information only workshop will feature two speakers about the Medicare Program, Medicaid Fraud and Open Enrollment, which starts in October. For more info call 330-482-2666.

Roast beef dinner

The St. George Catholic Church Altar & Rosary in Lisbon will hold a pick-up Roast Beef dinner on Friday, Oct. 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The fresh homemade menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll with butter, and dessert.
