United Local Wall of Fame

Seven people will be inducted into the United Local Wall of Fame on Oct. 11 at an Induction Dinner and program. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. The Inductees are: Edna Steffen Anderson, Special Honorary Achievement; Denise Ward, Special Honorary Achievement; Bobbi and Joe Ieropoli, Golden Eagle Award; Dannie and Judi Baker, Class of 1965, Outstanding Service to United Local Schools; Brandon Abel, Class of 2000, Academic/Career Accomplishment; Josh McLaughlin, Class of 2011, Athletic Accomplishment; and Daniel A. Imhoff Jr. BSN, RN, Class of 2001, Academic/Career Accomplishment. The dinner costs $20 for adults and $10 for children. Stuffed pepper dinner

The St. Jude Women’s Guild, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, will hold a drive thru stuffed pepper dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out Oct. 2. Cost is $12 per meal.

Cars, Cats & Canines Car Show

Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, will hold its fourth annual Cars, Cats & Canines Car Show from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 5. The event will feature food, beer, wine, a raffle, prizes and a DJ. Crafters and vendors specializing in animal/pet products, car accessories and fall items are bring sought for the event. Spots 10- by 10-foot are available for $50 or $35 and a basket donation to raffle. Vendors must bring own table and chairs. LCBA Branch 654 meeting

Members of the Loyal Christian Benefit Association, Branch 654, will meet Thursday, Oct. 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the Salem Senior Housing Club House, 996 W. Perry St., Salem. In observance of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, guest speaker will be Carol Harron who will share her experiences as a cancer survivor. Members are asked to wear pink. Denise Patton and Barb Hendricks will serve refreshments.
