The Columbiana County Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers’ Honorary met recently in Columbiana at The Gardens at Hippley Village. This landscaped property features eight gardens and eight waterfalls. Members experienced reconnecting with nature and storybook characters.

Following the invocation provided by Nancy Dicken, members enjoyed a picnic dinner.

President Barb Lipp conducted the business meeting. Both the treasurer’s report and minutes were approved.

The Columbiana Chapter also was recognized with the Gold Key for meeting all criteria for the 2024 calendar year. Pam Todd accepted the award on behalf of our chapter at the Ohio State Convention.

Member Lois Chandler was recognized for her 100th birthday.

The next DKG meeting will be held a Ricky’s English Pub in Salem. The program will be provided by the Columbiana County Humane Society. Members are asked to bring donations for the animal shelter.
