The Keystone State Gospel Quartet to perform Columbiana free concert

KEYSTONE STATE GOSPEL QUARTET
COLUMBIANA – The renowned Keystone State Gospel Quartet will present a free Southern Gospel community concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Idabelle Firestone Gathering Place and Garden at Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park in Columbiana.
The Quartet has collectively been singing together for decades and will perform favorite gospel favorites and music for the enjoyment and uplifting of the audience.
Thirteen-year old Harrison Hodgson, a Salem Junior High School student, will also perform as the committee’s music scholar.. He has been a student of Jan Cox of the Salem Music Centre. for the past four years.
Free admission and parking at the main entrance to the park and covered seating and shuttle service will be provided to the outdoor hilltop amphitheater for the concert. The rain venue is Grace Church on South Main and a move will be announced in the event of inclement weather..
Two additional concerts will continue every Sunday at 3 p.m. through September at the Gathering Place in the park.
Coming up next is the Ballet Western Reserve on Sept. 21 and a return engagement by The Texas Tenors, the hit vocal group from the NBC TV series “America’s Got Talent” on Sept. 28. The Tenors will perform two shows, one at 3 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. This concert will be held at the Columbiana High School auditorium because of the crowds that are expected for the performance of these national stars. Tickets are not required but the public is encouraged to come early to secure a seat at one of the shows.
