Meeting moved

The Salem Parks Department will move its October meeting from Oct. 22 to Oct. 15, 2025 at 5 p.m. due to a scheduling conflict. The meeting will be held at the Salem Parks Office, 2222 Oak St.

Art workshop

EAST LIVERPOOL –Internationally recognized miniature painting artist Jeanie Gordon will be leading a workshop at the Upper Ohio Valley Museum Artist at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame.

Gordon has had her miniature art displayed in galleries nationwide and has won numerous awards at the national and international levels including at the Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington D.C. and the Miniature Art Society of Florida shows.

She enjoys educating the public about the history of miniature art and teaching others how to paint in miniature.

The workshop is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 13. Cost is $30 which includes all supplies. Contact Sheri Liebschner for more information or to register at 330-708-3230.
