Free lunch

First Presbyterian Church, Columbiana, is sponsoring a free lunch, hosted by Celebrating Seniors, followed with entertainment by John Ruman, a one-man band/guitar-playing /singer, from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23. Make a reservation with Judy by Oct. 21 at 330-482-2666.

Escape room

Minerva’s Roxy Theatre will house The Mystical Hollow Escape Room this season. The event starts Monday, Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. and runs through Oct. 24 at 11 p.m. Cost is $20 per person; groups of six or more are $18 per person and groups of 10 or more are $15 per person. Children 10 years and under are $10 each. Adults must accompany anyone under 18. Reservation times include 4, 5:30, 7, 8:30 and 10 p.m. Reservations are available at 330-771-1659; follow The Mystical Hollow on Facebook for teasers, behind the scene glimpses and possibly a clue.

CAA PIPP plus

The Community Action Agency of Columbiana County (CAA) will be taking applications for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP plus) at the Lisbon office located at 7860 Lincole Place (rear). Appointments can be made by calling 330-424-4013. All appointments will be face-to-face appointments for energy assistance at this location. All applications during this time will be completed at the agency. Applications for PIPP and HEAPcan be filled out online at www.energyhelp.ohio.gov. Applicants will need to set up an account to complete the online application. Applicants need to ensure required documents are available to upload during the application process. Winona tractor pull

The Winona Nationals Derby Style Tractor Pull is scheduled for Saturday at Hall Park, 4521 Whinnery Road. Kids- age 3 to 10 Pedal Tractor Pull will be held at 2 p.m., sign ups at 1 p.m., $5 per hook. The Derby Style Tractor Pull will follow with weight classes 3,500, 4,500, 5,500, 6,500, 7,500 and 8,500 pounds, $10 per hook. Food available, spectators welcome.

EP Eagles events

East Palestine Eagles #1506 is having a Reverse Raffle on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available but only 100 are available. Tickets are $20 each. Winner does not have to be present, but there will be other chances to win money throughout the event. Food will be provided as well. The Eagles will also have a drive thru soup sale on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. Homemade soup by the quart will be available for $8. There will be ham & bean, chicken noodle, potato, broccoli cheese, stuffed cabbage, wedding, vegetable beef, chili, stuffed pepper and chicken enchilada. Call 330-853-8483 to reserve soup. The Eagles will also have their monthly drive thru sirloin tip and noodle dinner on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Dinner is tip and noodles, coleslaw, roll and dessert for $11. Audobon Society

The Audubon Society/Mahoning Valley monthly meeting will meet Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive, Austintown. Social time is at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. The program will be presented by Tom Wright, “One Year…One Quest,” the year, 2023, the quest, visit America’s 428 national parks.
