ACROSS OUR COMMUNITIES
SHSAA Giving Tuesday Quaker football raffle
SALEM — The Salem High School Alumni Association is celebrating Giving Tuesday with an opportunity for donors to be entered into a Quaker football raffle.
Giving Tuesday unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities. First launched in 2012, the campaign is a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good and to donate to positive causes. This event has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
SHSAA is encouraging alumni and friends to donate to its scholarship and grant fund. Quaker pride runs deep and wide. Donations of $5 or more will be entered into a raffle to win one of two Quaker footballs donated by the Bezon Family, owners of Haltec Corporation.
All donations made online at www.salemohioalumni.org, through mail, or in person from now through Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, will be entered into the raffle that will be held on Friday, Dec. 5.
