Country Roads Christmas Tour set for next weekend

HANOVERTON — The Country Roads Christmas Tour is set for next weekend, as patrons look to put the finishing touches on their holiday.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. just in time for Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29, 10 retail shops invite shoppers to stop on by and visit them for gift ideas and special offers.
Participating businesses include Hanoverton-based businesses: Advanced Polywood (furniture and home decor) and Grammie’s Place (Christmas decor), located at 29942 Canal St.; Hanoverton Feed (old town feed store featuring Christmas decor), 29946 U.S. Route 30; Hanoverton Hardware (hardware and Christmas decor), 9939 state Route 9; Beauty for Ashes (vintage Christmas items), 30005 Canal St.; Sweet Annies (artisan farmhouse, rustic and primitive Christmas decor), 9182 Plymouth St; as well as Tipsy Farmer Winery, located at 32849 Spiedel Road in Hanoverton. Tipsy will be open 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday in conjunction with the Country Roads tour, selling locally made wine, beer and ciders.
During the stop at Hanoverton Hardware, guests can enjoy a complimentary hot cocoa bar, where they can top their drink to make it cocoa extra special.
In Salem, the fun continues at Cheryls Step in Time (antiques, Christmas primitives, Rowe pottery and home decor), 28905 Winona Road; All the Things (boutique items and gifts, also offering coffee and cinnamon rolls), 5099 Butler Grange Road; Dawn Eve’s Salon & Boutique, (lavender and rosemary oil, haircare products, etc.), 29019 Mountz Road; and Woolf Farms, (kids’ activities, hayride to meet Santa and Christmas trees), 6051 state Route 9.
Stops also include Stone House Gardens (antiques, soaps, lotions, Christmas decor, etc.), 9769 Lowmiller Road in Minerva; and Old Milk House (seasonal home decor like shelf sitters and signs), 22107 state Route 172 in Minerva; and New Garden Thrift Shop & BBQ on 172 (thrift shop featuring. Christmas decor), 30598 state Route 172 in New Garden.
BBQ on 172 is a food truck and full service catering company, which has fresh smoked baby back ribs every Friday and Saturday as well as other BBQ favorites. Preorder for quicker pickup by calling 330-398-2963.
Also participating are Maple Valley Farm (a variety of maple syrup and sourdough favorites), 5271 Rochester Road in Homeworth; Stouffer’s Farm Market and Greenhouse (Christmas trees, wreaths and various decor items), 34433 state Route 172 in Lisbon; and Two Maker Adobe (soaps, quits, barn wood decor, restored furniture and ceramic planters and decor), 28823 Shoemaker Road in Beloit.
