WB FFA December activities

BELOIT – West Branch FFA hosted its monthly meeting Dec. 3, when members talked about activities for the month and voted on the monthly dinner. The club hosted the Ohio FFA State Reporter Austin Manning. He joined the December FFA meeting and shared a message with members. His workshops were full of great reminders about teamwork, communication, and keeping a positive mindset.

On Dec. 2, students recently had the opportunity to expand their agricultural knowledge and leadership skills through a trip to the Ohio State ATI. While there, they toured the beef handling facility and the beef paneling facility. Following the tours, students attended an FFA leadership night where the focus shifted from technical skills to leadership development. Students had a chance to connect with peers from other chapters, share experiences, and learn how leadership plays a critical role in the success of the agriculture industry. By visiting Ohio State ATI and participating in the leadership night, students gain valuable insight into future career opportunities while strengthening the skills needed to become confident leaders in agriculture.

The club also wrapped up its annual fruit sale, which brought in funds for the chapter to participate in CDEs, conventions, and other agricultural field trips.
