Salem Firefighters Local 283, the union which represents the city’s firefighters, recently made its annual holiday donations to local nonprofits totaling $1,500. Salem Firefighters Local 238 Secretary and Treasurer Michael Gensamer said that the Brightside Project, the Salem Community Pantry, and the Banquet in Salem each received a donation of $500.
