Little Loves Take-Out Supper

Little Loves Learning Center, 1431 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem, will host a Community Take-Out Supper from 4 to 6 p.m. or sold out Wednesday, Jan. 14. The menu includes Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, corn, dinner roll and vanilla frosted cupcake for $15. Gluten-free meals available upon request. All proceeds benefit Little Loves Learning Center. Calla Church soup sale

Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will hold its soup sale Friday, Jan. 16 from 4 p.m. until sold out. Soups available will be vegetable beef barley and stuffed pepper soup. YSU Women Retirees scholarship

YSU Women Retirees are accepting applications for their scholarship through March 1. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time, junior female student who has a minimum grade point average of 3. 0. P.E.R.I. Mahoning County meeting

The Public Employee Retirees (P.E.R.I.) of Mahoning County Chapter 18 will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 Western Reserve Road at noon. She has encountered consumers in the community needing assistance. Grist has been trained through a collaboration with FINRA to fight financial fraud and will discuss trending scams and the latest BBB risk report.
