LISBON — The Lepper Library will host several upcoming events.

Super Bowl Prep Party: 10 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday. Gear up for the Super Bowl l. Wear your favorite team’s shirt or jersey and make noisemakers to help cheer on your favorite team Super Bowl Sunday. There will also be a football craft and a Football Word Search to complete. No registration is required.

Spanish Bilingual Evening Storytime: 6 p.m. Feb. 2. Experience a Bilingual Storytime with guest speaker and teacher Meredith Dingey alongside the Spanish Club from Lisbon David Anderson High School. No registration is required.

February Craft Class featuring a Teacup Candle: choice of 5 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 5. Sign-up starts today. Here’s another delightful way to repurpose a lovely teacup. By using melted wax, you can incorporate flower flakes and essential oils for a unique touch. The teacups for this class have been generously donated by the Almost Perfect Foundation.

Writers’ Group: 2 p.m. Feb 7. Join fellow writers to discuss topics such as writing, publishing, and grammar. To receive constructive critiques, submit five pages a week in advance to Dolly@lepperlibrary.org.

Weekly Storytimes: Moving and Grooving at 10 a.m. Tuesdays. This Storytime is geared toward babies and toddlers. Come sing songs, listen to a story, and play. Older siblings are welcome to join in also.

Weekly Storytimes: Preschool Story Hour at 11 a.m. Tuesdays. Sing songs, listen to stories, and make crafts. Stay and play after the program. Geared toward children 3-5 but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Writers’ Group, Adult Craft Classes and Storytimes are all made possible in part by state tax dollars given by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.
