YOUNGSTOWN — The Junior League of The Mahoning Valley will hold its 3rd Annual Beads, Bags & Bingo (Purse Bingo 2026), a signature fundraising event benefiting the league’s mission to support women and children throughout the Mahoning Valley.

Purse Bingo 2026 will take place on Thursday, Feb. 26. This year’s event will feature a Mardi Gras theme.

Guests will enjoy a night that includes a full dinner buffet with two entree selections, 10 rounds of bingo with three cards per round, dessert, a door prize, and a cash bar. The event will also feature an 11th Grand Prize Bingo round, awarding a three-piece Tory Burch designer purse set valued at $1,100, along with additional premium prizes. In addition, attendees can participate in the new The Big Board raffle, where participants are guaranteed to win a prize from a selection of 150 items.

New for 2026, the Junior League of the Mahoning Valley has added a Louis Vuitton Purse Raffle, offering participants the chance to win a luxury handbag valued at $3,550. Raffle tickets are available for $50 each or two for $75, with only 400 tickets being sold. The raffle winner will be drawn on Feb. 26, and the winner does not need to be present to win.

The event is planned and executed by a committee of Junior League members, including Marcy Black, Diane Palmer, Lisa Marzano, Carol Matey, Elizabeth Kijowski, Chris Sliman, Anna Masi, Carol Johnson, Betty Cmil, Talva Maslach, Elizabeth Chahine, Chrissy Day, Kathy Garovich, Antonia Douglass, Ashley Wilfong, Geri Kosar, Joan Zarlenga, Lisa Szul, Lynee Aiad-Toss, Melissa D’Altorio, Natalie Mohamed, and Nicole Perfette.
