ALLIANCE - Rodman Public Library will host the following events in March:
Teens, ages 12-18, are invited to attend Nerf Night from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Teens should start to assemble in the Main Library auditorium at 5:30 p.m. for the after-hours event. Participants may bring in their own Nerf weapons or use some provided by the library. The library will also provide Nerf darts. Space is limited and registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com. Rodman Public Library's monthly Kids Crafting programs are held at 4 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. On those days, children, ages 7-12, are invited to come to the Main Library to participate in a creative activity. The featured project for March is a St. Patrick's Day leprechaun gnome craft. Thanks to the Friends of Rodman Public Library, all materials and supplies are provided free of charge, but space is limited and registration is required. Youth, ages 7 to 15, are invited to Rodman Public Library's Mar10 Party, a celebration of National Mario Day at 4 p.m. on March 10. During the event, kids will play a life-sized version of Mario Party, moving around a giant game board as they play minigames, winning stars and coins along the way. The event is free, thanks to support from Friends of Rodman Library, but space is limited and registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com.
Children, ages 8 to 12, are invited to Pizza and Pages, a book reveal program at Rodman Public Library in 2026, on Tuesday, March 17 at 4 p.m. During the 45-minute program, a librarian will read excerpts from a batch of new books guaranteed to excite the imagination of children and take them on unforgettable adventures while they enjoy a slice of pizza and other activities. Pizza and Pages is also scheduled at 4 p.m. on May 19 ahead of the summer reading season. The program is free, thanks to support from Friends of Rodman Library.
