Silver Players audition

LISBON — Stage Left Players invites community members ages 55 and up to audition for its upcoming Silver Players production, “Once Upon a Time…,” a medieval-themed musical variety show to be presented May 7 to 9 at the Trinity Playhouse.

The production will feature a mix of classic songs, playful sketches, and lighthearted adaptations, offering performers a chance to reconnect with the joy of being on stage in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 4 to 4:45 p.m. and 5 to 5:45 p.m. at the Trinity Playhouse in downtown Lisbon.

Participants may choose a time slot in advance. Those who wish to sing are asked to bring sheet music for a short, upbeat selection. Non-singers are welcome and will participate in a brief reading from provided material.

The Silver Players program is designed specifically for older adults, with flexible rehearsal scheduling and a focus on creativity, connection, and fun. No previous stage experience is required.

MCCTC Adult Career Center open house

MCCTC Adult Career Center located on Palmyra Road in Canfield will host an enrollment open house from 5 to 7:30 p.m. March 26. Campus tours will take place anytime throughout the event. Prospective students can meet with student services and find out more about potential funding sources to help pay for education.
