Salem Regional Medical Center expands access with affiliation of Kensington medical practice

SALEM — Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) will be affiliated with the long-standing family practice of Jay R. Lugibihl, D.O., located at 29627 U.S. Route 30 in Kensington. As of March 9, the practice has joined the SRMC Medical Group and been renamed SRMC Primary Care – Kensington. This expansion ensures that the Kensington, Hanoverton and surrounding communities continue to receive the dedicated, high-quality care they have trusted for decades.

The transition to SRMC Primary Care – Kensington provides patients with a seamless link to Salem Regional Medical Center’s full network of specialists and advanced diagnostic services. As part of this transition, SRMC has announced that Michael J. Buchenic IV, D.O., an internal medicine physician, will practice alongside Dr. Lugibihl. The arrival of Dr. Buchenic ensures the practice can continue to meet the growing demand for primary care in Columbiana County and western Stark County.
