garage sales this weekend

The 18th annual Minerva Village wide garage sales are May 7, 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There are approximately 50 sales scheduled. A list of sales with a map of them will be available Wednesday, May 6 after noon for pick up or one can be emailed using the above address. Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society meeting May 17

Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will host its next meeting Sunday, May 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Boardman Park’s Elton Beard Cabin. Members will discuss Dahlia Tubers purchased and how to get them ready for planting and growing in flower beds for the season.

ESC of Eastern Ohio Student Art Show

The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio (ESC of Eastern Ohio) will host its Annual Student Art Show on Wednesday, May 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Joyce Brooks Center at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. This event will showcase more than 250 pieces of artwork created by students from across the region. The exhibit celebrates the creativity, talent, and hard work of young artists representing a wide range of schools and grade levels. The event is free and open to the public.
