Build Your Bones series

Ohio State University Extension Mahoning County is inviting community members to participate in Build Your Bones, a four-week educational series focused on improving and maintaining bone health. Offered in collaboration with University of Florida, this educational program will provide practical information on protecting bone health through nutrition, movement, and prevention strategies. Participants will gain valuable tools to support lifelong wellness and reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.

A special guest presentation will be provided by Andrea Nikolai, Registered Dietitian and Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent, who will discuss the nutrients essential for bone health and the important role nutrition plays in building and maintaining strong bones.

The series will be held on Mondays, June 29, July 6, July 20, and July 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at Ohio State University Extension Mahoning County, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield.

The cost to attend is $20 for all four sessions.
