Memorial Day Car Cruise

Hookstown Grange will hold its annual Memorial Day Car Cruise following the parade at the Hookstown Fairgrounds from noon to 3 p.m. Arrive before 11 a.m. to watch the parade. Road will reopen at noon. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 participants. Sponsored by Southside Grange. Free parking and admission. Perry Twp. meeting canceled

The Perry Township trustees have canceled their next regular meeting, which would have fallen on May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The board of trustees will meet next at 4 p.m. June 8.
