Bigfoot Festival at Beaver Creek State Park
EAST LIVERPOOL — The annual Bigfoot Festival will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Beaver Creek State Park.
The event will feature a group camp in the park on Friday and Saturday, Bigfoot investigations, speakers and vendors. The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park, one of the sponsors of the event, will hold their monthly pancake breakfast in the lower level of the barn from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
The other sponsor of the Bigfoot Festival is David Wolf, a researcher and filmmaker with Exposing the Strange and Coshocton County Bigfoot. Along with him will be Jay Fouch and Larry Felski of Coshocton County Bigfoot; Johnny Freeman, a psychic and Bigfoot researcher; Doug Waller, a Bigfoot investigator and author, and Carrie Beegle, a cryptid researcher of Dogman Encounters. Their presentations will be in the upper level of the barn in Pioneer Village.
The pancake breakfast will feature a variety of pancakes that include buckwheat and buttermilk, both made with grain stone-ground onsite in Gaston’s Mill, sausage, grits, juice, coffee, maple syrup and homemade syrups. The public is welcome at the breakfast whether or not they are attending the Bigfoot event. The cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children under 6.
