Informational meeting planned regarding power plant/data center in Yellow Creek Township

A public meeting to share information regarding the new power plant/data center located in Yellow Creek Township has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Highlandtown Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All questions will be answered by company officials.

Columbiana Arts Theater to host Karaoke Night for all ages

COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT) invites the community to take center stage for an evening of music, laughter and unforgettable performances during its upcoming Karaoke Night event Saturday, May 30. Kids karaoke will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and adult karaoke from 7 to 10 p.m.

Thanks to Wells Productions’ sponsorship, the event is completely free. Spots are limited, so register now as a performer or audience member. Tickets are available at www.AtTheCAT.com. Attendees will receive a confirmation email containing a link to submit song requests ahead of the event.

Designed for performers of all ages and experience levels, the event will feature separate sessions for kids and adults, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the spotlight.

Guests can expect a high-energy evening complete with professional stage lighting and sound, giving every performer the chance to feel like a star. Whether singing a favorite power ballad, a classic throwback anthem, or simply cheering on friends and family from the audience, Karaoke Night promises entertainment and memories for the entire community.

CWC to host candle maker at Lunch & Learn session

The Columbiana Women’s Club will host a Lunch & Learn with Melissa Smith of the 1820 Candle Company, an East Palestine-based business featuring natural plant wax candle collections born out of a love for music, design and agriculture, at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 13. RSVPs are required at 330-692-2099. Cost is $20; cash or check only.

The Columbiana Arts Theater presents Midday Cabaret featuring Stan Miller

COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT) invites guests to enjoy an afternoon of smooth jazz, timeless classics, and warm musical storytelling during a special edition of its Midday Cabaret series featuring local favorite Stan Miller on Wednesday, May 27, at 1 p.m.

Known for his soulful vocals and expressive saxophone performances, Stan Miller brings decades of musical experience and charm to the stage. Audiences can expect an intimate and relaxing concert experience filled with silky jazz standards, toe-tapping favorites, and nostalgic melodies perfect for a midweek escape.

Designed with the senior community in mind, Midday Cabaret offers guests a welcoming atmosphere where music, connection, and live entertainment come together in the heart of downtown Columbiana.
