The Salem Rotary Club hosted its second annual Rotary "Shark Tank" event Tuesday. The event saw three non-profit organizations from the Salem area give presentations to club members about their organization and what makes it unique, with Rotarians voting for which presentation they felt was best. This year's event included presentations from the Almost Perfect Foundation, Mobile Meals of Salem and The EMBER Project. Rotarians selected the EMBER project as this year's winner and the recipient of a check for $1,000. Mobile Meals of Salem and the Almost Perfect Foundation won't be walking away empty handed, either, as each will receive a check for $250.
